Puppies from Previous Litters

Boomtown pups have distinguished themselves in competition but their greatest successes are in their homes with a 100% satisfaction rate as outstanding companion dogs!  918-567-2895

Tonka the Nanny Dog

Tonka is truly a "Nanny" dog. If Gavin's Mom leaves the room, Tonka sits next to Gavin until she returns to the room.

Staffordshire Bull Terriers  are very trainable.  Our dogs have learned not to harass the cats and take no more than a stern verbal warning for correction.  They need plenty of chew toys and exercise. We buy NylaBones for our dogs.  Any other chews, they consume.  Staffords have been trained for flyball, agility, obedience, show, as well as therapy and companion dogs.  We have placed our pups in pet, competition and show homes.

Tonka) took a 3 point major over Ch. Bullseye Battle Hymm, top U. S. Stafford 1996-1997.  He was top Stafford in the midwest in 1999.

Tragically, Tonka was stolen from his yard and the loss devastated the family.  One drawback to SBTs is that they are so people friendly, they can fall prey to scoundrels.  We strongly suggest that they are kept in a tall fenced yard when unmonitored.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Martin,

"We would like to thank you for sending us such a sweet & lovable puppy. Diego is such a smart and joyful dog. As you can see from the pictures, he gets along wonderfully with the kids and Ziggy (our cat). Diego is the sweetest dog anyone could have! When Leroy is at work at night, Diego becomes my little protector. He sometimes wakes up at night just to check on me and the house. He takes his role as protector very seriously! "

Maverick the Totally Ripped Flydog

We had some timber cut off the place this year and it really stirred up the snakes.  The dogs killed several and Morgan warned Rob of one on the porch.  We also had several bites on the dogs and Rosa ate a copperhead.  Pepper killed her first copperhead at 12 weeks.  They can get bitten when they compete over the snake.

Sugar is a Champion!  Good work!

People like the Scoggins' (Left) make their dog a member of the family.  These dogs wriggle their way into your hearts and sometimes into your beds.  Rob and I have owned a lot of dogs over the past 30+ years and our staffies make the best family pets.  One big plus is that they are so compliant.  They want nothing more than to please you.  They stay home. (We have had dogs that spent a lot of time finding ways to escape the yard.)  They can play hard and chill out equally well.  They are absolutely trustworthy with kids.

Of course any responsible pet owner knows never to leave a little one unattended with any dog.

Tonka the Wonderdog

Boomtown Jazz Ma Taz excelled on her flyball team before she was a year of age. She is fast, has great ball drive and was a pleasure to train.  Flyball has become a very popular sport and we love to place pups in flyball homes.  We breed toward a more athletic dog.  All Boomtown Staffords will have plenty of leg and muzzle.  Personality, body types, athletic ability and drive vary within each litter.  We individually place our pups in the home that we feel is the best match based on the needs of people and pups.

"Temperament-wise I couldn't have asked for a nicer dog. He is so full of personality, everyone that meets him falls in love. He's so smart. Did I tell you the tricks he can do. He can beg, wave, roll over, shake, & to fall over when I pretend to shoot him. I don't think there is anything he can't learn."

Staffordshire Bull Terriers become a member of the family and we expect them to be house dogs.  We rarely place two same-sex dogs in a pet home.  They are smart and cheerful and affectionate.
