Boomer and I are coming in too! 8 Generations

What a great bunch of people loving pups!

How you holdin' up great, great, great, great, great Grandpaw Boomer.  All the pups and grandchildren LOVE 16 year old Boomer!

Lulu is a spunky little female with a short-backed cobby build.   She is a pretty red with nice white markings.  Her beautiful dark eyes give her a very sweet and friendly expression.  She looks very much like Rosa's dam Snooker.  I expect Lulu to be of standard size with a square muscular build. Below she is playing with Panda.  She has a solid staffy temperament and is a lot of fun but not too geared up.  Notice her depth of muzzle.  She will have a strong head.

Lulu is not available.

Linker is available.

Linker is a gorgeous deep red with crisp white markings.  He is a very confident and people oriented pup.  He also has warm friendly expression as do all of Rosa and Rock-It's pups.  Many of the pups seem to have Rock-It's fun and almost goofy personality.  All of the pups enjoy being held and cuddled and settle nicely.  These pups were generally  small and all around the same size with Nell being the largest right now and Lulu the smallest.

The picture above shows the relative sizes of Max and Linker. Max is the largest pup in Scout's litter and is quite the bully boy.  Max is nearly a week younger than Linker and already outweighs him by a pound.  The picture to the right epitomizes Linker's personality.  He is eager to please and ready to go.  He is energetic and quite tuned in to people.

Linus is the most natural athlete in both litters.  He is quite a tugger and loves staying active.  He has superior rear angulation and slightly lighter bone and color. Linus is slated for a flyball home and Rob and I are thrilled and can't wait to see how fast he is.

Aroo is a great little female with Rosa's color and style.  She has won our hearts and will hopefully be taking over for Rosa eventually in our breeding program.  Below the pups are trying to cool off in the 105 degree heat.  They love digging in the water bowl until they have wet the porch so they can belly down to get cool.  Notice Rocky and Bullwinkle are hanging out with Linker and Lulu. These are great pups!

Boomtown Scout X Boomtown Seamus

6 Pups Whelped May 31st, 2011

3 Females and 3 Males

The is our little Panda.  This is a super pup with a dynamic and people loving personality.  She is cute a button and ready for anything.  She especially loves to tug!  She also loves affection and settles for petting and lap time very well.  She has a tidy but cobby build.  We adore this pup and she embodies all the people loving characteristics Boomtown loves to brag about.  She is not very leggy but has the temperament to want to please and truly loves to tug as the picture below shows.  This pup is currently available.

Rocky is a handsome little guy that is just as sweet as can be.  he is happy and playful and soooo cuddly.  He is nearly a twin to Bullwinkle and is so similar it is sometimes hard to tell them apart from a distance.

This is Bullwinkle and he has the same build and sweet temperament as Rocky.  They are very sturdy and stout but not really very large.  They both have really strong heads and small ears.  I think they will make great family companions.  My sister Marsha loves these little guys.  Bullwinkle will be living in Texas.

This is Nambe.  She is a blue fawn and is just stunning to look at.  She has a solid temperament and very nice balanced body.  The dark outlines of her markings are gorgeous.  Her expression is friendly and her personality is playful.   I think she is just a knockout beauty!  Unfortunately, she is not available.

This picture shows her coloring very well.

This is our big buddy Max.  He is  just a wonderful pup.  Max is a near clone of Bosco with a thicker coat and very few markings.    Max will be living in Canada and will make a great companion dog.  What a happy boy he is!

Nell and Nambe have similar builds and personalities.  Both are great middle of the road pups.  They are not too bully yet not too terrier. They are medium sized and not particularly laid back or too geared up.    We have reached a point when we will be retiring Rosa and Bonny.  Scout will be retiring soon as well.  We are so pleased with these two litters that we have decided to keep one from each litter to see how they mature.

It is time to eat and all 10 anticipate a good meal.

Marsha is great with the pups and they surely love her as well.  She spends many hours socializing the pups and this time she brought Rock-It and Cookie along for the petting session.  Both adults are very good with the pups as well.  While I was gone to Cape Cod, Marsha was invaluable help to Rob. The pups compete for lap time.  Rock-it is just a year old and will continue to thicken and get stronger and more muscular.

I wanted to include a few pictures of Rock-It playing in the sprinkler about a month ago.  They show his athleticism and his joyful temperament.  Rock-It is generally a calm dog.  He has been easy to train and is a cuddler as well.

We are very excited about these two litters.  Rosa, Scout, Rock-It and Seamus are balanced and athletic, and possess true stafford temperaments. Scout and Rosa have produced great pups.  Seamus and Rock-It are both first time studs for us but we are very impressed with their quality.  Rock-It is 9 months old in these pics and he will continue to mature and put on more muscle and thicken until around 2 years old.  He exhibits such great quality and personality that we decided to give him a try.  Enjoy the pictures!

Seamus is his owner's "Best Bud" and he shows all the physical balance and alert and playful temperament that we have come to expect at Boomtown. Seamus plays at the dog park in the city and is a ready and willing companion no matter what the activity.  He romped and ran with Scout and was a great sport all around.  He has a wonderful sleek, short and dense coat with a deep red color.  Scout is our most playful adult and loves to go in the truck or car.  She is also a great cuddler and is calm and quiet when we are relaxing.

Boomtown Rock-It at 9 Months

Rock-It lives with my sister Marsha across the road from us.  Rock-It is attentive, steady, smart, affectionate, and playful.  He has two doggie companions.  Cookie is a Boomtown female and Lyndie Lou is a 5 year old Miniature Pinscher.  They all get along great and Cookie and Rock-It wear each other out playing with rope toys and balls.  He is a carrier and vocalizes while he proudly carries his toys and nylabones around.  Rosa is our sweetest and most calm and quiet and (I think)beautiful staffie.  She loves watching out for us and guarding the yard.  This will be Rosa's last litter.

Scout with Rope

Boomtown Scout

Boomtown Bosco

These pups should be nicely angulated, athletic Boomtown conformation with strong heads and wonderful expression.  We expect standard-size and bright engaged personalities.   I have left some photos of our last couple of litters so that you can see how we raise our pups here at Boomtown.     Call Rob or Carol for further information and to check for availability.  918-567-2895

We have given temperament a very high priority here at Boomtown.  We value athleticism a great deal and many of our pups go to homes who like hiking, jogging, flyball, agility and other fun activities.

I have left pictures of previous litters.  These are line breedings so the pups should be similar to the pups shown below.

Bosco is simply a terrific staffy! His temperament is rock solid.  He is athletic and playful and strong.  He wants nothing more than to please his people and is game to go anywhere and try anything. Bosco is such a joy to live with and is a treasure to our family.  He has such a winning personality that nearly everyone that meets him wants to steal him from us.  His cheerfulness is one of his greatest assets.

Please call Rob for his great knowledge of the history and development of breed and of the pups. We expect our owners to get to know the breed well before choosing a staffy.  We are happy to answer any additional questions you may have.  Our phone number is 918-567-2895.

Please understand that although there are differences in the pups, these are often very subtle. The pups are constantly changing and they are far more alike than they are different. Our conversations with our perspective owners help us to establish a nearly perfect placement rate.

Rob and I very often agree in our assessments of the pups but also disagree on occasion.  I have my individual preferences as does he.  I do the emailing and website and he is the phone man.

The pups are crashed out and using each other for pillows after a play session.  This is a good picture to illustrate their relative sizes.  There is very little difference in the white females but Bowser is twice the size of Jet who is our little circus dog.

The pups are more playful now and are engaging each other in tug and playfighting.    Staffies love to exercise their jaws and we provide Nylabones and knotted ropes for them to chew on.   Some people have success with rubber Kongs. They will consume most other chews in seconds.

The rest of the pictures below are from other litters.  It gives you a good idea of how our pups are raised.  We try to socialize them with adult dogs and people of various ages.  Before our pups leave here they are free of worms and external parasites.  They will have at least one immunization shot.  They will have one dose of Revolution (our preference for Heartworm preventative).  They will have had their nails clipped regularly. Best of all-they are well on their way to being house trained!

The pups love to playfight and take turns chasing and tumbling each other.  The next two weeks the pups begin to learn bite restraint.  When they bite too hard, they are swiftly corrected.  The pups are really getting used to going outside to do their chores.  They have been wormed and nail-clipped several times. I am going to paste a bunch of pictures of the pups play sessions.  They are interacting with the big dogs a just had tons of attention during our 35th wedding anniversary weekend.

I couldn't have been happier with the pups behavior with our granddaughter Marin.  They were restrained with their biting and were really respectful of her.  I was a little cautious because she loves the pups and can be exuberant with them sometimes.   I thought they might try to tug at her clothes or nip at her in play but they seemed to know exactly how to treat her.  She is a typical confident 15 month old and wanted to try all their play toys.  A great time was had by all.  Pups, Robby and Marin play in the sprinkler.

Bonny is so playful and fun.  She acts like a puppy.

Bosco is just the most cheerful staffy; he is a joy to be around!

The pups wonder what goodie Rosa may have found in the ground.

Our adults get along well.  We have a wonderful bunch of staffies.

Bosco's coat is quite thin in the summer but thickens in the winter.

All of these pups will have spots on their skin.

Marsha, my sister is a great help when socializing the pups.  They love each other so much.  Here they are sleeping on her foot after an exhausting play session.  Rob and I are so thankful to have her living right across the road.  We now have both of our Moms and my sis living out in the sticks with us. Hurray!

Rosa is such a steady, sweet and beautiful staffy.

Bonny is such a great sport with the pups.

Bosco is so tough and yet so soft with the pups.
