Boomtown Bonny Lass X Boomtown Morgan

4 Males and 4 Females whelped 06/06/2010

There are no males available from this litter.  However, we do have a couple of females available.

This is a breeding we have looked forward to since seeing the results of putting Morgan to Bonny's half sister Rosa last year.  From the time they were whelped, these pups have rewarded our anticipation: each of the 8 pups (4 males and 4 females) "hit the ground running" on June 6th.  They have been relaxed in handling since birth and by 18 days all 8 were making eye contact with us and the whole litter will come to the wall of their pen (in our bedroom) to elicit our attention. The pups are eating dry Science Diet Growth Formula with filtered water.  Rob adds egg or shaved venison occasionally.

These pups exhibit nicely angulated, athletic Boomtown conformation with strong heads and wonderful expression.  We expect standard-size down and bright engaged personalities.

Morgan is 8 months old in this photo.  He is more muscular and has a stronger head than in these photos.  He has added eight pounds of muscle and bone since this photo.

Boomtown Bonny Lass

Bonny X Morgan Puppies

Boomtown Morgan

The following are relative and brief descriptions and all eight pups in this litter are bright and very people oriented.  They are very connected to humans and like playing with the big dogs as well.  They are well constructed with good heads, bone and muscle.  All possess beautiful dark eyed expression.  All pups tug and carry.  Rob and I are thrilled with the quality of this litter.  We are likely to repeat this breeding in the future.  Call us for further information and to check for availability.

I am going to leave the pictures from the Maverick and Scout litter as Morgan is a pup out of their first litter. It will give you a good idea of how the puppies are reared. Several of the pups resemble the puppies from this litter.  This was a super litter and the pups have gotten rave reviews.  We were fortunate to place one of the pups with my sister Marsha and I will include some great pics of her at one year as well.  Cookie and her doggie companion Lyndie Lou (a 5 pound Miniature Pinscher) get along well together.  Cookie is such a cheerful and playful dog.  She enjoys riding the boogie board and playing chase with the other dogs.  In fact, Cookie simply loves life and imparts her joy to everyone around her.

The pups love to playfight and take turns chasing and tumbling each other.  The next two weeks the pups begin to learn bite restraint.  When they bite too hard, they are swiftly corrected.  The pups are really getting used to going outside to do their chores.  They have been wormed and nail-clipped several times. I am going to paste a bunch of pictures of the pups play sessions.  They are interacting with the big dogs a just had tons of attention during our 35th wedding anniversary weekend.

I couldn't have been happier with the pups behavior with our granddaughter Marin.  They were restrained with their biting and were really respectful of her.  I was a little cautious because she loves the pups and can be exuberant with them sometimes.   I thought they might try to tug at her clothes or nip at her in play but they seemed to know exactly how to treat her.  She is a typical confident 15 month old and wanted to try all their play toys.  A great time was had by all.  Pups, Robby and Marin play in the sprinkler.

Bonny is so playful and fun.  She acts like a puppy.

Bosco is just the most cheerful staffy; he is a joy to be around!

The pups wonder what goodie Rosa may have found in the ground.

Our adults get along well.  We have a wonderful bunch of staffies.

Bosco's coat is quite thin in the summer but thickens in the winter.

All of these pups will have spots on their skin.

Marsha, my sister is a great help when socializing the pups.  They love each other so much.  Here they are sleeping on her foot after an exhausting play session.  Rob and I are so thanful to have her living right across the road.  We now have both of our Moms and my sis livin' out in the sticks with us. Hurray!

Rosa is such a steady, sweet and beautiful staffy.

Bonny is such a great sport with the pups.

Bosco is so tough and yet so soft with the pups.

The best way to find out more about the pups is to call Rob or Carol at 918-567-2895. Rob and I will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Bonny has weaned them for the most part and they are now eating dry Science Diet Puppy Small bites.  I hope these pictures help determine placements .  We are awaiting selection of two performance pups.
